Museum Walker ("we", "us") is operated by HVALABS, LLC, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use museumwalker.com and how we use it.

What We Collect

Account data. When you sign in with your email address we store that address, the time of your sign-ins and a session identifier. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name and a Google account identifier from Google; we do not receive your password or access to your Google account beyond this.

Subscription data. If you subscribe, payment is handled by our payment provider. We store your subscription plan, its status and renewal date, and the provider's customer and subscription identifiers. We never see or store your card details.

Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Preferences. Your language choice and similar settings are stored in your browser only.

How We Use It

We use your data to sign you in, keep you signed in, deliver the content you subscribed to, send you sign-in links and subscription emails, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Emails

Sign-in links and subscription notices are sent through Brevo, our email provider. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in and a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in. Neither is used for tracking.

Data Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Museum Walker: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Brevo (email), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in) and our payment provider (only if you subscribe). Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments.

Retention

Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. Sessions expire after 90 days or when you sign out. Account and subscription records are kept while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account by emailing info@museumwalker.com. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

Museum Walker is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
